About Carpenter's Hall
Carpenters' Hall is a four-story brick building in the Center City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, that was a key meeting place in the early history of the United States. Completed in 1773 and set back from Chestnut Street, it was also the first meeting place of the Continental Congress in 1774.
